Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still able to hear the faintly audible call to prayer from the muezzin, firstly you have the chance to visit an authentic working farm, where you will have the chance to sample locally produced olive oil, cheese, honey and capers as well as the daily baked bread which you can see being baked in the traditional kilns; and then relax on this beautiful mountainside with spectacular views over Fes medina, surrounded by olive groves and sweetly scented lavender, the area produces figs and almonds too and is pastureland for goats and sheep.
Later, you'll have the opportunity to see a gorgeous sunset and experience the blue-black vista of the night sky pin-pricked with countless bright stars, seemingly close enough to touch.
